Description:

Ira Glass, a Baltimore native and host of the popular National Public Radio and Showtime program This American Life, will lend his unique storytelling talent to benefit two local non-profit organizations: Civic Works, Inc. and the REACH! Partnership School. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will reflect Glass' signature style, featuring discussion of his experiences converting his beloved radio segments into a television series and clips from the show. Tickets can be purchased for the performance alone or for a package including the performance and a reception with Ira Glass that includes drinks and a light supper. WYPR is the event's media partner and College of Notre Dame of Maryland is the event's hosting partner.
